In 2017, the Joyous Life Music Foundation raised $20,000 CAD to Dr Yasufuku’s team at the Toronto General Hospital.

The Joyous Life Music Foundation is a Canadian non-profit charitable organization founded by a group of passionate music lovers. Its mission is to raise public awareness on disease prevention and to support the advancement of medical research and development through organizing fundraising initiatives about music.

There are a lot of incurable disease in the past. With the effort of medical research teams, many of them become curable today. Beside the effort of the research teams, funding is also needed to make this miracle happen. Dr. Yasufuku and his team of most respected thoracic surgeons are creating new techniques to minimize invasion in the surgeries. You can also help to make this miracle happen.

On August 19, 2017, the Joyous Life Music Foundation hosted our first Inaugural Concert at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, featuring the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and Brass Transit.

Funds raised through this concert went Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation to support the work of Dr. Yasufuku in the Division of Thoracic Surgery at University Health Network (UHN).

Helping people and supporting the medical system is a long journey. We need your continuous supports. We will continue to provide you the music to harmonize the society, and give the helping hand to the ones in need.
